The O3 Gallery accepts proposals for solo and group shows of fine art all year round.
To apply for an exhibition please send a letter of application in one of the following ways:
Email to: info@o3gallery.co.uk Send up to 20 images of your work (jpeg), artists CV and statement, links to any web
pages with more work/information.
Post to: Helen Statham, Gallery Manager,
O3 Gallery, Oxford Castle, OX1 1AY. Send up to 20 images of your work (CD of
jpegs or photographs), artists CV and statement, links to any web pages with
more works/information.
Please do not send photocopies of works. Please label all your images with title, size, medium and date. Please
include a SAE if you require images back.
You should outline in your letter of
application when you would prefer to exhibit and a guide to the prices you normally
charge for your work.
TERMS: The gallery is a commercial space
and all works displayed must be for sale unless by prior arrangement. We do not
hire the space to artists but take a 20% commission from sales to cover our costs.
We do not act as an agent but work with artists to help promote their shows to
a broad audience.
Exhibitions are selected by a panel made up of representatives from Oxford Castle
Ltd, as well as local artists and student representatives. Artists living or
working in Oxfordshire or the South East region will be given priority.
Please note that we only write to applicants once the selection process is completed
and owing to the large amount of applications we receive it is not always possible
to contact artists unless they are successful. There is no deadline for applications.
Please note: The gallery does not conduct studio visits or invite artists to
present their work at the gallery without receiving an initial application. Please
do not ‘cold call’ at the gallery and expect us to view your work. However you
are welcome to drop your application in by hand if you wish to do so. (Please

Submission Information

The
O3 Gallery also welcomes applications from performance artists, musicians and
other performers for events in the space. To apply, please contact us by email
or post with your ideas for performances/installations in either the O3 Gallery
or in the outdoor spaces at Oxford Castle. Please see our Events Archive for
previous events coordinated by us. |
